Dream big, and make it happen.

But you must be willing to put in the hard work.

I always loved entrepreneurship.

I always admired those who took the plunge into the unknown steadfast in their mission and fearless in their belief that they will accomplish greatness. The few confident enough to believe in an idea when most people around them didn’t. The few who traded the familiar for the unknown. The few who pushed beyond the ascribed limits.

And despite all the doubt, still went for it.

And despite all the challenges, kept going.

I’m inspired by their stories.

From the hundreds of podcasts I listened to, biographies and entrepreneurial books I read, business stories I came across online, I always tried to understand what made it all work for those few? Were they just special? or are all of us capable of achieving what they achieved?

And I think I found the answer.

All of us can do it if it’s truly what we want.

We do not need to be special, but we do need one key ability.

From the thousands of entrepreneurial stories I came across, the one common trait that would always come up and play a first-hand role in the ultimate success of those entrepreneurs was their ability to endure.

In all of their stories, they all faced tremendous adversity. They faced moments where many would have, and perhaps should have, quit.

But none of them did.

Regardless how much uncertainty there was, they kept believing.

They figure out a way to keep going. To make it work.

What determines our entrepreneurial success is simply our ability to believe. Believe in ourselves, in our idea and keep pushing. No matter what.

There is a reason why almost every person who finds success in their life ascribes the most demanding of times among their most cherished moments in life. It’s because it was during those times that they became wiser and can always turn back to the invaluable lessons they learned during those moments for guidance. Forever.

It’s precisely those moments that all of us should be seeking.
